    Question elctrical lod

    Hi, All

    what will be the cause of unbalance load in the 3 phase circuit.

    the connected load is R-phase: 110amp, Y-phase: 125amp & B-phase: 132amp

    in addition one phase is not within the acceptable limit, and what is the acceptable limit.

  5. There is an infinite number of reasons why the load is unbalanced. What loads do you have on each leg? If the loads on each leg are equally rated, then one or more of them might be drawing more or less that its rated current.

    The amount of acceptable unbalance, that is, the acceptable limits, are set by your specifications. There is no standard (as far as I know).

    If you are trying to troubleshoot, then you need to find out what the state of the system was before the trouble started; then you need to know what it should be and then you can proceed to analize why it is not doing what it is supposed to do.

    Explain what you are trying to do, what are the actual loads, what are the expected loads, and any other relevant information and someone might be able to help.
