Pump Hydrostatic Test - NPA 1901

    Hi,
can someone please state, for what reasons, NFPA 1901 asks the pump manufacturer to test the pump body @ 35 bar.

What parameters gets justified, if we test the pump @ this massive pressure?

    regards,
