Microsoft Word 2007/2010 has an option to save any document in PDF format. Just use "Save as .." and choose PDF format.

Free download the attached link. It is a file PDF995 used to be installd into your PC as a printer.
So, when you need to convert any file (Excel, Word, ... etc.) into PDF, just open trhe file you need, and select Print and select that printer frm the menu.
