I'm a mechanical engineer in the mining industry, so I am more familiar with the storage and pumping of slurries than petrochemicals. I'm currently working on a project that requires the installation of a 500,000l diesel storage tank and associated diesel reticulation to the mining area and sinter plant. Could anybody point me in the right direction regarding the storage and distribution regulations associated with diesel. Typical PFD/P&ID would be highly appreciated.
