Sand Production from gas wells & sand transportation studies

Hey all,

In our field we have sand producing wells.I wanna know about the sand mesurement and diagnostic tools for actual reservoir sand production.
What about the sand transportation in the pipeline.
What should be the sand management philosophy in case of high sand porduction.

you cam put ultrasonic sensor at the xtree , it mesure the the sound and afther get the sand production. i proube it ad get me good result.

thanx for reply.
We have deepwater gas wells and two sand monitors are installed on XMT.
one is the same which u have mentioned and the another one is the intrusive sand detector.
and both the sand detector has shown some sand production value from mainly two wells which are cased hole frac pac wells.
