calculation of cooling water for diesel driven sprinkler pump?

Does anyone know how to calculate the required quantity and pressure of cooling water sprinkler pump diesel engine?

For example, the calculated Q-H is approx. 8000 l / min @ 5.5bar

Does this information have to ask the manufacturers of pumps or can be estimated at approximately 1.5% Q and 0.3 or 0.5 bar

Any experiences?

Normaly this kind of info depends of the pump technology. The cooling water is to cool the pump and this depends of the heat dissipaction (performance of the pump) thats change with the supply. Normaly i ask this to the supply. If you error on the calculation you can fail the pump.
The cooling water is calculated by heat mass balance. If you know the heat dissipation you can calculate the flow.
Heat Energy Dissipaction=Heat absortion by water (Watts) = m.(T1-T2)cv

cv=1 for water
T1 = outlet temperature of water (ºC)
T2= inlet temp of water (ºC)
m= water flow (kg/s) this can be converted easly to m3/s because the water density =1
