    TAnk Design

    plz help me with

    1) which code is used to design above ground horizontal storage tank?
    2) anchor chair calculation of vertical above eground horizontal storage tank?

    Dear aani1984,

    1) For design above ground storage tank, please refer API 650 & API 620.
    2) For Design anchor chair, refer pressure vessel design handbook by Bednar.

    But API dosen't cover horizontal tank design.

    API 12B will cover horizontal tanks and UL S601 can be used
