How to calculate orifice plate dia

hi guy,

can somebody may tell me how to calculate orifice plate dia. if pressure difference & flow is know for water ( in SI units).

You can do this manualy or through so many excel speard shhets available in this forum. Calculating for incompressible fluids is much easier. However I would suggest you download FLOWEL 3 or FLOWEL 4 from any site install it and generate SITE CODE send it to me . I will give you SITE KEy. Just paste it in the licensing box and use this soft.
This is best package so far for calculation of flow elements.

You mean Qg? just follow the AGA 3 or GPSA datos for that.... also if u use the AGA 3 need the AGA 8 for the Z factor.

I have downloaded Flowel 4 and I have installed it at work and at home, since I do quite a lot of flow element sizing calculation at home. Would it be reasonable to request two SITE keys, one for my office computer and one for my home installation? Please let me know how to contact you for the information if this forum is not suitable.
