The spent caustic from merox or merichem unit is sent to spent caustic treatment . The treated caustic is then sent to waste water treatment unit or sour water stripping unit .
query :- why the treated castic is spent to WWTP or SWS plant ??
answer will be a great help ... thanks in advance ... plesae help ...

The spent caustic treatment units adjust the pH, COD/BOD levels and other contaminants. The final polishing is still done in the WWT unit
