Hello folks,

We need to connect a 1" air pipe to a 6" class 150 flange but we have a serious space problem so we can't build all the reductions to 1". We have considered welding a 1" coupling to a 6" blind flange and so make the connection. Is it allowed, have any of you seen anything like that before? Any suggestions?
