How can I apply excel to calculate in petroleum industry

I have a plan to apply Excel to calculate petroleum problem but I don't know what I have to start. I find in forum has a lot of Spreadsheets which used Excel, it is so good.

Hi friend.
I think you have to learn how to create Macros, they are a powerfull tool for solve petroleum problem, after that your imagination is the onyl limit
