I`m asked to create a program to automatically do the following:


1.Use ATM in HYSYS to estimate the peak flow

2.Enter this peak flow in FlareNet to calculate the back pressure at each BDV/RO

3.Compare each BDV/RO critical pressure (Pc) and back pressure (Pb).If Pc is higher than Pb, that particular BDV/RO need not involve in the iteration.

4.Identify those BDV/Ro with Pc less than Pb.
5.Re-adjust back pressure in HYSYS based on calculated Pb from FlareNet to obtain a new peak flow.

6.Reenter and rerun in FlareNet

7.Repeat steps 3 to 5 till backpressure in HYSYS and FlareNet are matched

Think I’m going to do this by the means of visual basic. And to be honest, I`m totally lost hear.
All and every comments and responds would be appreciated. Specially detailed ones .
