Please share here all problems relating to amine treating units.
And share your experience to overcome them.
some of the most common problems are
> foaming/flooding
> System Corrosion
> Heat Stable Salt formation in system
> sludge formation in Reboiler of amine Regenerator.
> Reboiler tubes leakage
> Reboiler Shell leakage ( it has happened in our Unit)

1- Apply anti foam in contractor vessle 2- Use demineralized water instead of ordinary water .3 Sludge removed must be lab-tested and shared with us .
5-Reboilertyps is direct tube that quality of tube must be design /with expansion allaowance in order to avoid thermal shocks ,storage of used as well as fresh glycol must be with under nitogen blancket.
Phenol test will performed ,it will be indiredt indication of feed contimanations?
