I work for one of the companies producing popular G&G Software and am looking for input as to how clients REALLY use the software in a multi-user asset team or multi-disciplinary exploration team enviroment.
I worked at Schlumberger/Geoquest back in the GeoFrame days and we attempted to do multiuser testing, but it was a flop.
We are trying to do it a bit better at my present company. Our software is very well integrated, and model centric. It supports multi-users by authoring various data items.
I am trying to gather a sampling of different workflow examples to put together typical work "sessions". What are team members commonly doing in the same project at the same time?
In what sequence do they usually do things, is there a typical systematic order and so on. I know from one company to the next it will vary.
A list of bulleted task steps would be sufficient with a little explaination of simultaneous tasks would help.
