Petrel 2016 showing blank panels in 3D window?

I'm trying out Petrel 2016 for first time and loading SEGY 2D lines on mine and some Petrel sample 3D SEGY data cube. When I look at the data in 3D window for either 2D or 3D data sets I only see blank rectangular planes where I might expect to see the stacked SEGY delineated data plotted out in a 3D window that I could move around in.

Is there some setting I need to change from blank panes to see the actual data in 3D window view? Thanks.
