I have a question.
What's the difference between adiabatic and polytropic coefficient? I got these definitions when i simulate a compressor. It's rather confusing

Depends on whether the compressor is Centrifugal or Reciprocating. For Reciprocating use adiabatic co-efficient and for Centrifugal use Polytropic Co-efficient.
