Running Hysys under Win 7

My new laptop runs Win 7 Home Premium Edition. Hysys 3.2 and 2004 (I'm running these because other more updated versions such as 2006 and V7 etc seem to come only as part of a big suite of programs) get to a 95% installation and then "crash-out". The only way I can run these is inside a virtual PC running Win XP. Anyone have a solution? Thanks

Wich system do you have ?

32 bits or 64 ?

I couldn´t install HYSYS under W7 x 64

I'm running under 64 bit system - perhaps that's the problem?

Yeah, probably, i will try with 32 bits in a virtual machine using virtualbox

I have another error. In W7, If i load an old dynamic file, all my set point for controllers were reset. By the way, if i create a new controller, Hysys didn't allowed me to enter any value. This's so strange.

Please i need help with hysys 3.2, i'm trying it on w7 64 bit and it doesn't work for me, i woul really appreciate if you guys can tell me some ways to do it.

Why don't you change your computer's date before 31/12/2009. For example: today's 11/09/2010. you changer to .../../2009. It might affect.

Para instalar Hysys V7.1 en Windows de 64 bits se tiene que instalar "Microsoft SQL Server Express Editions" con compatibilidad de 64 bits.

porq y tb intente instalar otro SQL... el 2008, pero no puedo instalarlo, me podes decir q version de SQL Server Express Editions instalaste?
