Any easy way to find out if there is methyl-alcohol in drinks

I need help. I will distile alcohol at home. But I'm afraid. Can anyone tell me how to test for methyl-alcohol in drinks.

Use clean materials, no woody substances, idealy only pure juice. Buy correct yeast, not something for baking or whatever.
Measure the temperature during distillation and discard the forerun.
A real test to check for methanol is not easy, its unlikely that you can do one. However, small amounts are no problem, the "antidote" is already present: Ethanol.
