Dear experts,
Please guide on solution of one problem in above ground storage tank API-650.
Tank Data:
dia 24m, height 15m bottom 1st shell course thickness 16mm , Rpad Thickness 16mm
Problem:
During construction site team rotated shell course and make manhole near vertical seam.
The distance with vertical seam and pad is 5inch which is far less than code requirement of 10inch.
If we perform PWHT of vertical seam requirement is still 6inch.
What should be the best solution of the problem, please guide.
