Aspenone 7.2 installation instructions for win7 32/64bit (not using windows xp mode)

Hey Nour,

I want you to repeat installing the license, but this time try standalone.. restart and try it..


if it doesnt work


uninstall Aspen, and delete it all left over folders in

program files
program files/common files
remove from registery
disable UAC (User Account Control)

[link Point to another website Only the registered members can access] restart
install license again for standalone this time
install Aspen engineering
Standard install (install in default location C:\programfiles(X86)\Aspentech) recommended
Working files folder also defult (C:\ProgramData\Aspentech)
Next, Skip user name and password/doamin
install hysys
restart
enable UAC
try Hysys



check pdf in 1st post also (dont think u need it)

u must be doin something wrong mate, i installed it again last night for a friend of mine,, and worked just fine on win7 home edition 32bit

what is diffrent from ur installation
1- when install msql server i select mixed autherization , and windows autherization anther time and both donot work
2- when promot to ask for user name and pass i skip , but when runn the program [ failed to establish connection + unable to aquire the licence ]
3- when disabled UAC the prgrame failed to continue set up [setup failed]

I had the same problem with my friends computer..

I uninstalled MSQL then restarted
Uninstalled AspenOne V7.2
Restart
Cleaned Temp folder
Cleaned registry (make sure to backup ur system drive, if u delete anything wrong ur windows wont start)
Restart
Removed Aspen folder from program files and program data, also from common files in program files
I did the same for Hyprotech folder

restart.

Installed the license for standalone
Installed MSQL russian version
Installed Hysys
Restarted
Run hysys

please go to control panel and check if u have one or 2 msql services and which 1 is running
