Running Hysys under Win 7

hi, know well that SQL 2005 server is working only on 32 bits this's comfirmed
check your version befor installing hysys.

SQL server has 2 version, 32bit and 64 bit. Are you sure you have installed the right one? Because i've tried to install in W7 x64 and have no problem

oki sir , I tell my experience , first I've had in my laptop vista integral edition 32 bits and when I installed successfully aspen V7.1 without any errors or prob, after I'd changed my hard disk of 120 GB to 500 GB I reinstalled vista but 64 bits, I tried to install ASpen V7.1 but SQL 2005 had shown an error of compatibility with 64 bits I installed SQL 2005 of 64 bits but It didn't working because the version of SQL 2005 given with Aspen V7.1 is only compatible with 32 bits, this night I'll install for the first time windows seven and I'll install within Aspen V7.1 and I'll give a feedback

if you have problems with v7.1, why don't you try v7.2? it is compatible for 64 bit system

I've installed recentely HYSYS 7.1 on my laptop which running with win7 32 bits, so everything was well, know well that tha SQL server 2005 runs only with 32 bits according to my experience with vista 64 bits and win 7 64 bits because the error is the SQL 2005 is not compatible with this sytem (64bits) so try to use 32 bits everything will get better
