shear force calcualtion on an obround sight glass

Hi Everyone.

I need to calculate the shear forces on an obround sight glass any ideas?

I would also like to check if the sight glass can withstand the forces applied to it during operation

If you have got the material properties, you have almost every thing. you can perform FEA or some hand calcs. What would be the problem?

I need to check if the sight glass will withstand the forces applied to it, also would like to check if the shear forces are acceptable compred to the force applied, if you can assit with the hand calcs formulas
