Commonly in the drilling operations, a frac tank is use to storage any kind of fluids for the operations, such fluids could be: Drilling mud, brine, water, disposal fluids remaining of the drilling operation. Other features (depend of the complexity of the tank) are: Manifold with butterfly valves, hooper, agitators, suction line output, skid mounted, outside level meter. The commonly volume of the frac tank vary from 100 bbl up to 700 or more bbls (actually if the client require a specific dimension it can be done).
