Importing data from Excel to Hysys as input

Hello friends,
Just as one can export the hysys output data to excel (spreadsheet), can one link a spreadsheet to hysys simulation such as the simulation accepts the information in the spreadsheet as input to the simulation?
Please advise.

I want to do the same.
@please did you figure out how to do this.
I recently installed Historian and can get plant data in excel; Now I want to use Hysys to do simulation on it.
Hysys models are already made just require parameter data to be imported from Excel.

Ya it is possible. But for that macro editor is used to write a macro & thereby it will get connected for data extraction.
If u go through macros in visual basic e-book available in 4shared.com, u will get it.

Sure it can be,
But the frequency of the update is depend on your computer CPU
