In Brasil we call Engenheiro and is a graduate course of 5 years after the High School and here is regulated and certified by CREA, and every professional full chartered engineer is registered at the CREA.

After the graduation we have the "Mestrado" (master degree) that is about 2 years and then "Doutorado" that is about 4 years (Phd.).
