Does any one has the software Bentley Substation V8i or similar for substation desing?
Hi cemljxp,
I don't have any experiences with Bentley Substation V8i.
But there is another really good (or even better) software called primtech 3d for substation design. Siemens and ABB are using this sofware...

For *****ing run try it now!.exe file.
Have chosen C:\ProgramData\Bentley\Licensing path
The error message generated was "Wrong path or license file".
Please, help on *****ing Bentley Substation. Thanks.
look where your bentley licence is installed and change the path in try it now!.exe file.
Hello nafamsaoud,
Thanks for posting in reply.
Look, I have installed Bentley Substation and have activated it as evaluation version. Have run try it now!.exe file and chose the license path as C:\ProgramData\Bentley\Licensing (where Substation license is as I have only one Bentley software installed on my PC). After pressing OK try it now!.exe generates the “Wrong license path or file”. What is wrong? Did you activate Substation? Maybe the path I have chosen is wrong. Could you help, please?
do you have any link, or you can share it?
I haven´t found the licensing path* could anyone help?
