  1. Water in natural gas , Prode Properties thermo

which is the best thermo option to calculate water contents in natural gas at medium/high pressures with Prode Properties ?

I think these are the best options for water in natual gas
-Peng Robinson with temperature dependent BIPS
-Soave Redlick Kwong with temperature dependent BIPS
    -GERG (ISO 1853)

plus there are the complex models

    -GERG (2008)
-Peng Robinson with complex mixing rules (WS, MHV)
    etc. which i use rarely

my streams are mainly of methane plus C2-C6+ , N2 etc. water < 0.001%
mainly I need to calculate vapor and liquid compositions at specified T,P

Prode has nice procedures to print phase diagrams and hydrate curves in Excel,
I use those, too, and I would be interested to know the best options
    from other users.

Re: Water in natural gas , Prode Properties thermo

for calculating water content in natural gas with Prode Properties I would recommend
-std. EOS such as Peng Robinson or Soave Redlich kwong and std. (van der Waals) mixing rules *BUT* temperature dependent BIPs, temperature dependent BIPs allow to tune the model to an accuracy of 1K or below for water dew points

    Prode Properties also includes
ISO 18453, accurate but limited to a few HC + water
GERG 2008 accurate but slow and limited to a few HC + water

as alternative for very non ideal fluids you can consider these models included in Prode Properties
    -EOS with complex mixing rules
    -CPA (with association)
    -PC-SAFT (with association)

note that PC-SAFT with association is available in extended versions.
