Hi,could you please share this book for me?I really need it to my current works, thanks in advanced

  7. Re: PVT Analysis Discussion

    All,
How about samples QC and validation?
I guess, it would be good if we can confirm the quality of the sample first (i.e. opening pressure, haffman plot etc) prior to EOS tuning.

    Any comments?

    Hi dauphin

I am not sure what is the problem with 4share website search engine but do the following.

    1) Go to this link which allows you to search an individual web link

    2) In "all these words:" plaste the following ---> pera whitson advanced

    3) In "site or domain:" put in ----->

    4) Press "Advance Search" button and you will find what you want.

Regarding the sample and point of sampling validity, its depends on the type of reservoir fluid itself. The most affected party would be the volatile and condensate reservoirs if you are taking the surface samples, since little less or more liquid in your sample will change the reservoir fluid type in your experimental data. Nevertheless for dry gas reservoirs it will not make much difference since you dont have high liquid content to recombine. For water salinity you can check analysis of the sample you get from separator. Usually the well has to be stabilized very well during sampling since uncleaned well or well with back surging will cause liquid fall outs, so your GOR will be unstable all the time, and recombination of liquid and gas will give you errors. check wellhead pressures during sampling time also.
To my knowledge i think you need to compare your experimental results of PVT with one which you going to simulate in the PVTsim or PVTi and see the difference. may be you need to use the different PVT models in the prosper and check which one suits you well and match with existing well properties.

Thanks maybe I wasn't clear enough. I know about this link. What I am looking for is the "Hot Engineering - Advanced PVT and EOS Fluid Characterisation"
It is an industry course and the videos are on 4shared.
I am looking for the accompanied slides and spreadsheets.
