Hi,
I've just graduated with a mechanical engineering degree and am looking to get into the Oil & Gas industry. I was curious to see if anyone has any insight in to what recruiters are looking for in graduates that are applying for entry-level jobs.
Specific things I'm interested in would be:

*How to get past the "no experience" barrier?
*What are employers looking for specifically in mechanical engineers?
*Are there key things that should be highlighted on a resume to stand out?
*What exactly do mechanical engineers work on for oil companies?

The last one I have basic knowledge of, but all I've ever found have been vague answers. I'd love to talk to someone who could paint me a clearer picture!

Thanks in advance for any and all responses
