Faisal,
Are you referring to a table that gives recommendations for compatable pipe, fitting, flanges etc or are you interested in comparing ASTM, EN, ISO, JIS type materials in similar forms? I have seen books regarding the latter. For the former I have only seen tables prepared by engineers who consider compatable metallurgy, code welding categories, allowable stress, minimum design temperatures, Charpy tests requirements and so on...

Well i am referring to recommendations for compatable pipe, fitting, flanges.....just wana know which standard (name of standard) which provide this table....... I know it is easily available on net ....but want to know on which standard this table is found.....?
Faisal,
ASTM F1155 has some infornation but it may not cover the specific process you are interested in.
u mean to say ASTM cross reference material Specification is in ASTM F1155.............. if no then what is the authenticity of this table.............................Do you have this ASTM F1155........?
Faisal,
ASTM F1155 provides guidance for designers of ship board marine type utility systems. I will see if I can find a copy to scan and send to you. If you are looking for oil & gas process system guidance you would be better off looking at the the NORSOK standards L-001 and M-630. If I understand what you are looking for I don't think there is code based "official / authentic" guidance available. Table 1 in M-630 is probably as good a reference as you are going to find. Engineers preparing piping specifications use their judgement and experience when making the choices that go into preparing a piping specification, i.e. welded vs seamless pipe, fluorocarbon coated vs galvanized bolting, RTJ vs NAF cardboard gaskets and so on.
