Simulation model initialization & Oil in place

Hi all,
I obtained a 42% increase in the oil in place estimated in petrel after using the equilibration method and not SWATINIT to initialize the model in eclipse.
What is the reason for obtaining different amounts of STOIIP in ECLIPSE as opposed to that calculated in PETREL?
No Pc data was available for modeling water saturation during geomodelling and model initialisation process.

For sure it will be different, to compare you have to compare apple by apple. Use the same array of SWATINIT and check

Hi,
I am a student at the university and I am currently doing my research in the enhanced oil recovery using carbon dioxide as an injection medium. I am using Schlumberger Eclipse reservoir simulation software for this purpose. I followed the tutorial number 1 exactly and got all the plots on the oil production, water injection/production and gas injection but I am want to know if I am using miscible CO2 injection, as I am not sure which gas injection I am considering, can anyone tell me how can I run the model as a miscible CO2, or what changes I have to do in the case definition section of the data manager module.
Furthermore, the tutorial already runs with one gas injection well, 08 oil production wells and 10 water injection wells. How can I change the position of the wells, as the position of the wells on the reservoir is fixed? I think I can change the position of the water injection and oil production wells in the Schedule section, in the well specification data already inputted by the tutorial, but I am not sure, which values should I consider. I want to change the position of the wells, and run different scenarios of CO2 injection so as to get the maximum amount of oil production profile curve within a prescribed simulation time by changing the position of wells.
