  1. Question Where to start Pressure Vessel Design

    Hi all,
    I am new to this field, so i would like to know what would be a best way to start learning about pressure vessels design etc.. Are there any tutorials , exercises etc ? please help me.

    Any help or suggestions are appreciated

    Appart from code and standards,You will need to read some stuff on Pressure Vessel designing.
    The famous software PVlite also contains very helpful material in this regard.

    dear friend..

    based my knowledge... PV Handbook by Eugene is good to learn Pressure Vessel.

    if you want to learn you can find this book in many sites for free.

    also you can use PV Elite for your learning..

    I have to a lifting lug design a vertical vessel in PVElite. The Orientation of lifting lug is Flat. To design the lifting lug I require Additional Normal / tangential load. Can anybody tell me where will I get this load.
