    FWL, OWC, Transition zone

    Very Good link which was suggested on another forum

    There was this paper there that I SUGGEST EVERYONE reads and keeps as a reference.

    If you do any reservoir simulation work in the future you will need to do as part of building the simulation model

    1) Define the OWC, GWC
    2) Be sure to understand the transition zone from FWL to OWC.

    If you do not you will have problems with OOIP calculations and subsequently model accuracy and behavior.

    Remember, in the Transition Zone there is Oil which needs to be accounted for !!!!! Sometimes this zone is very small and not very significant but at other times it may be very significant.

    The paper does a very good job explaining this aspect and how to look at it.
