for petrel here's the fix
1) download these files

2)install petrel 2009.1
3)install slblicense
4)copy ( petrel.exe & primlicense.dll) to the petrel 2009 folder on c/program files/schlumberger
and replace with older
5)edit the license file by replacing computer name with your's
6)copy license file to flex114 under c/program files/schlumberger/schlumberger licensing
7)open lmtools and go to configuration tap and do the following
-verify path to imgrd
-verify path to license file
- check two boxes
- go to stop/start/reread
- verify that every thing is ok
