    Hi man. Do you still have this problem with running Petrel 2008? I have figured it out how to solve it. It is simple. Run SLBLicensing from "C:\Program Files\Schlumberger\Schlumberger Licensing\flex113" folder. On the bottom of the box you can see license servers. Delete from the list all servers except "8888@localhost" server. Than press OK. Now repeat 10-16 steps from tutorial. And enjoy Petrel 2008. Regards.
