Hello everyone. I am currently working to make new contacts in the drilling industry. Since I have many years of field experience, I will be happy to respond to any questions that you might have. So what have I done personally? Well, I got my start in oil and gas working as a Mud Engineer. After servicing every major oil producer, I then decided that it would be in my best interest to go into consulting. When I was a consultant, I had many good experiences that lead me to develop the wide range of skills I have today. Now that I run my own small drilling fluids company I have tons of freedom and I am really loving life. If you have experience in the drilling fluids industry I would be interested to hear your story and test your knowledge. Mud Engineer Jobs - http://mudengineer.hubpages.com/hub/Mud-Engineer-Jobs
According to sources I have been finding online, it looks like Oil Rig Jobs in the U.S. are starting to take off. If you are looking for work in the U.S. why not update your training so that you can get into a more technical job like Mud Engineering? From what I have found through my own personal experience, is that these jobs pay much better than most others in the industry. Entry level Mud Engineer salaries have been quoted at $60,000 per year; but the U.S. average totals closer to $75,000. Yes, employers are willing to pay top dollar for trained applicants who meet their requirements. To get trained, try searching for a Mud School that accepts basic entry level students. Good Luck!
