The Institution of Technicians & Engineers (Kashmir) is a professional body and educational institution for technicians, engineers, and other technical persons who hold certificates or diplomas in engineering and degree in any engineering branch (perticulerly engineering council). The trust is bound to operate as a non-political, non-profit, and non-governmental organization (NGO). It provides facilities for upgrading knowledge, guidelines for further education and training, and industrial guidelines. It also supplies information to the general public regarding technology and public safety in the use of electricity.
The Institution was founded in the year 2000 and was incorporated as a public trust professional body and charitable organisation on August 18, 2009, under registration M-176/166 at District Sub-Registrar 2nd Anantnag.
