Whether or not the story is entirely true, you really feel for these character’s constant disappointment, and sometimes wonder how or why they keep going after this seemingly unobtainable dream. The true story is that Neil McCormick who loves Deadwood Seasons 1-3 wasn’t the one who held his brother Ivan back from becoming a member of U2, but I guess the flow of the story worked better that way.While Neil is not a very likable character because he is always sabotaging his and his brother’s career, his and Ivan’s chemistry is believable enough to be siblings. With each new venture, they try to reinvent themselves with a new look or music style, but end up sounding just like U2. With each occurrence of bad choices for 24 Seasons 1-8 , I couldn’t figure out how anyone could be that patient and forgiving with my own sibling, even after discovering I could’ve been apart of one of the biggest bands in the world. I almost got frustrated watching it, especially when Bono personally contacts Neil who is a big fan of Family Guy Seasons 1-9 to hand him and Ivan a gig and he still refuses. This film also marks the last credit of Pete Postlethwaite, whose character was unfortunately small, but quite funny and memorable.
