  • Oil well location

    hi everybody. i am new at reservoir engineering. my question is how can i decide new well location, with the help of 4 other wells data drilled at the same formation. from these wells i have permeability, water saturation, porosity and formation thickness values. which of these parameters are most important while deciding a new well location. i need to drill my new well between two of that 4 wells.       you have 2 determine the drainage area of the 2 wells in question. then locate the area where the effect of production from the two wells hasn't reached (i.e area unaffected by production). If the permeability is low then it takes long time to reach boundary dominated flow conditions therefore there is a higher possibility of finding areas in virgin pressure.

    compared a occasional aggregators and arbswap came at large cheapest after gas on most of the pairs i tested
