Hello, im new to this forum and hope you can help me!
Im currenylty running petrel 2010.1 (black oil) and trying to simulate an ultra fine grid model.
the dimensions are 20 x 160 x 160. each cell is 1ft x 1 ft x1ft.
my problem is that im gettng convergence problems when running the simulator. ive checked for very low pore volumes but this is not the problem.
however when using a coarse grid block scale the model does conerge. Any idea's why this wont converge?
ALl the cells are the same size and shape. There are no wells, just a grid with some heterogeneity and a pressure difference created using aquifers.
