Washing after Blasting

Hi Everyone
In our project there is a tendency for economic reason to blast stainless steel pipes
with Garnet instead Aluminium Oxide,Prefered abrasive in Accordance to our Specification,
But after Blasting garnet particles adhere to surface, therefor sweep water blast; using chloride free
ions water will be done. Now it is a question in my mind that we always have concern about existance
of moisture in Compressor outlet air, then how we can wet our surface in this way and if it will tend to
a major problem what we can do ? It will be so great if any standard reference will be implied.
