    Dear Friends,
    can anybody tell me how can I determine the proper size of steam line to bring hs steam to a steam turbine?
    is there any recomendation for friction loss or steam velocity?

      Well you need to be more specific before a answer can be given. You will have to check for
      a) Steam condition, temp, press, vol flow
      b) Not too may bends near the entry
      c) check for fluctuations in flow and pressure and check for the mechanical integrity.
      d) If you can give more details I could design the pipeline
