Hello everyone,
I ask your opinion on the following
on the application of "antifreeze" liquid in the sprinkler system ....
I put in a sprinkler system Temper-S product (http://www.temper.se)
http://www.temper.se/Files/TemperS/Engelsk/060127% 20DNV% 20Report.pdf
Temper is a synthetic glycol-free solution based on formats of potassium acetate and potassium salts together with a novel corrosion inhibitor package with a unique mechanism. The optimized mixture of ingredients gives a product with excellent technical properties.
It has limitations in applications (for example, galvanized pipes ...) but from several manufacturers of ESFR nozzles answer is that they do not approve the application with their sprinklers ...
Please note that this is not a propylene glycol, glycerin and ethylene glycol, or similar, used in the fire sprinkler system as an Antifreeze.
sprinkler equipment manufacturers may not approve the application of that until they develop their own product ...
if someone has experience with these?
thanks, zaconja
