  • Hot Insulation & Cold Insulation

Is there any specific definition of Hot Insulation and Cold Insulation. What I understand is:

Hot Insulation is used for Higher Temperatures such as 80 C - onwards. Cold Insulation is used for Lower Temperatures and For Cryogenic Liquids. Hot Insulation can also be used as Personnel Protection.
