I am geologist recently joined in an oil company
we are using landmark openworks in our company
i would like to know how to convert the horizons after tracking to depth and how to contour it in zmap
I have tracked the water bottom and convert it to oneway time(in seis section window using horizon>computation>standard option(input the horizon and divided it by 2))then i have used the converted one way time horizon and divided it by 1000 to get the horizon in seconds and multiplied it by 1520 (internal velocity)......and finally i mapped it in zmap i got the depth in TVDSS
what to do to convert the other horizons like miocene top, cretaceous top etc to convert it to depth
plz help me
