Dear fellows,
I'm facing an issue in lifting equipment design, I need to rise up a huge equipment with simply supported at both end but I can't have center gravity position so what I should consider to decide reaction force?? Are just simply the weight distribute equally at each support or any design assumption to consider maybe a side of supporting structure should handle 2/3 of weight cause lack of cg position data, if there are any code or literature as reference would be great.
