    Does anyone know how to configure PRO/II to use HRTI in the rigourous exhanger module? I installed the "cured" version of HTRI 6.0 but a message appears "could not find HTRI or its security key on this machine", although I can perfectly run HTRI from outside PRO/II.

    Hi
    I wish to design a double pipe (heat jacketed) heat exchanger by using HTRI.

    Input and output temperatures of annulus and pipe are known.
    Tube side flow rate is known too.
    The pressure of tube is around 150 bar and the pressure of annulus fluid is 10 bar and both in the liquid phase.

    Three design parameter (Jacket diameter, Pipe diameter and pipe length were set).When I tried to design a jacketed pipe heat exchanger (as above specification) the result were shown as steps. I surprised when I saw that the overdesign factor was around 70-100% with the minus sign.

    Please tell me what it means.

    If anyone has as a tutorial on Jacketed pipe heat exchangers, It's be good for me.

        Why are there differences in estimating the weight between the "TEMA Spec Sheet" and "Setting Plan"??
        For example, in my case in "TEMA Spec Sheet":

        Bundle: 4984 kg
        Dry: 9341 kg
        Wet: 12534 kg


        While in "Setting Plan":

        Bundle: 5942 kg
        Dry: 9934 kg
        Wet: 13789 kg

        Probably the difference between the dry weight of the "Setting Plan" and

          hi every body and experts
          I have one problem please help me:
          I'm working with htri 5 and making design for feed water economizer.
          I used in simulation mode and in "multiple services" tab its appear "ID 100 0.2816 Megawatts %OD -2.12e-1"
          what is that message?

          Hi all

          I am a newbie in HTRI, i have problem when I run HTRI
          It says Fatal Error like this

          "A baffle type other than No-Tubes-In-Window has a zero tube account in the window. Check the specified shell diameter, baffle cut, and bundle to shell clearance."

          It has also warning error like this :

          "The calculated height under inlet nozzle was limited to 30% of the shell diameter. Check your specified shell side flow rate, physical properties, and shell geometry. If you find problems, correct the data and rerun the case"

          Do you know how to fix them
