  1. Autoplant V8i (SELECT Serie 3) X86 installed on Autocad 2008 and Windows 7 x64 system

    Hello Egpet:

The last year was uploaded Autoplant V8i SS3 X86 and X64 versions in Lavteam page.

I couldnt make run it on Windows 7 32bits system with Autocad 2010.

Now I have a Windows 7 64bits computer and I wanted to install Autoplant and I dont like the release 2010 and up of Autocad.
I am an old user of AutoCAD and dont understand why these releases are too slow. I remember when I ran autocad 2000 and Pro/Engineer R20 on the same computer and Acad were very fast and Pro/E slower and I had to buy memory and a new graphic card to run Pro/E. Today its otherwise! I run Pro/E WF4 without problems and Autocad is slower... and do, almost, the same of theirs R20 and 2000 releases.

So, I decided to install Autoplant V8i on Autocad 2008 because this runs faster than theirs updated releases.

    This is what I did:
    1. I installed Autocad 2008 for 32bits with --------
    2. I installed Autoplant V8i x86 on Acad2008 (Run PDW.exe from /PDW file)(note 1)
    3. I installed Autopland P&ID V8i x 86 (run PID.exe from /PID file) (note 1)
    4. I installed Autoplant Process & Instrumentation V8i x86 (run PIW.exe from /PIW fle) (note 1)
    5. I run -------- (generate and apply Windows Bentley License Registry)
    6. Thats all. I could run Autoplant V8i SS3 and everything worked!

    Notes:
    1. You must run from .exe file because if you use setup.exe, it stops installation when detects your 64bits system.
    2. I dont have Autocad 2008 32 bits link, but you can find it on Google. (Coming soon I will upload it)
