Dear Bro can any one know why ETAP 16 is slow on 64 Bit windows 10 PC?

Because Windows 10 sucks?

Open your task manager (Ctrl Alt Del) and go to the Performance and Processes tabs and see what your CPU; memory and hard drive are doing. See if ETAP is slowing any thing down. My hard drive is slowing everything down on my PC these days. Also Windows 10 really does suck.

my etap in win10 is okay.. and i block etap 16 from using internet.. disable all telemetry..

Hi...

I am experiencing problems* when loading relays from the libraries and pressing the ok button* the parameters are not saved* sometimes it works other not* just as it can be for any element.

Someone will have some solution?

I think .. just disconnect the internet during using ETAP.

I use this portable program: Firewall App Blocker; for all files on etap; autocad; inventor; plscad* adobe acorbat professional folders.

there is an oti folder at program files. I think the option of ini file to 0 is better becasuse I runned etap without internet connection and firewall and it updated the ionioni solution and died at dicember. I think there are other files on appdata or common files and other user files that are stored* maybe with ashampo uninstaller program can detect it.

even software operation and start is faster because is not conecting to check licences or updates.

it seems same as 14 portable last time..dont know who *****ed it...or it was distributed to make us ' excited'???

anyway I have not tried 14.1 and 16..just read the post for the issues encountered

i used zone alarm.. when i install etap* during the installation process* the software notified me that etap is trying to access the internet...
