i have a query regarding impact test my MDMT is -28 C so i want to ask what will be my impact test temperature according to PD5500 and also tell me diffrence between MDMT and design reference Temparature.

You have to check first the thickness of your selected material whether it falls below impact test exemption curve as per Fig. UCS-66 of ASME Sect. VIII Div. 1, it depends also on your selected materials whether it is normalized or as rolled conditions.

-the Chamber MDMT is your minimum design temperature..

..There are two types of MDMT: 1) Chamber MDMT; and 2.) Selected material MDMT rating ...sometimes you have to read the code to understand the concept..
